Football take a community and we need each family to contribute time to make the upcoming season a success.  There are several ways you can help.

We need committed volunteers at all games and are also seeking new board members to take the reigns in 2025

• Coaches: We are currently in need of coaches at all levels
• Weighmasters: Responsible for being at each game and weighing the opposing team's players. We need 2-3 weighmasters for all levels.
• Field Greeter: At each home game, be available near the entrance to direct teams/visitors.
• Chain Crew: on field support for visiting games (each team is required to supply 3 for every away game)
• Board Members: Multiple spots open (VP, Member at Large)

Our Current ongoing fundraising opportunities:

1) Cans and Bottles Blue Bag Drive: Get your blue bag from us and fill it with cans and bottles then simply return it to Bottle Drop.  All proceeds go to SYF! 

2) Willamette Valley Pies: mandatory participation for each registered player, or can be paid out during registration.

Parents, if you are able to help us find sponsors, we will give you a kickback for each one.  Please see our sponsorship section for paperwork information. 

Sponsors you bring, who commit $500 or more in advance of July 15th will drive a discount off your registration fee.

*discount will be based on donation value, ~25% (ie $500 min. donation = $125 discount at registration)

If you are needing financial assistance for registration, THPRD offers scholarships. Please fill out the application forms, and once approved by THRPD, forward your confirmation email to our registrar to guide you through applying the scholarship to your SYFL registration.

Before registering your athlete with us: 

1. Fill out both forms and turn into THPRD. (THPRD usually responds pretty quickly once you've sent them in. Also, sometimes going in person speeds up the process.)
2. Email the registrar to let them know you have initiated the process with THPRD. Include your player's name and the grade they enter next fall.
3. Once you receive the confirmation/approval email from THPRD, forward it to the registrar
4. The registrar will issue a discount code for you to use when registering.
